As many of our teens are transitioning to young adults, we have seen a need to offer opportunities specifically for college-age individuals and young adults who are interested in pursuing Christ in community.
Besides studying God's Word together, many of our young adults participate in outreach activities and help lead our Dynamo Kids mid-week Bible study.
Teen & Young Adult Prayer
Teen & Young Adult Prayer meets at the Workman home in Johnsonville on Tuesdays at 7 PM Tuesdays on weeks that Youth Group doesn't meet.
This time of Spirit-led prayer, based on James 5:13-16, is for anyone from Junior High through college/career-age who would like to gather together to support each other in the name of the Lord.

James 5:13-16 – “Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. 14 Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”
Young Adult Bible Study
Young Adult Bible Study meets every other Tuesday at 7:15pm at Simeon and Alicia Youngmann’s home at 20312 State Route 22, Petersburg, NY.
Each week, they study one chapter from the book of James and read two chapters from Proverbs.
Young adults are invited to join them every other Tuesday evening for Bible study, fellowship, and light refreshments. Check our calendar for dates.
Sunday School
This year we are also offering a Sunday School class for young adults. This group meets every Sunday from 9:30-10:15. They are currently studying the DNA of the Christian and Missionary Alliance, the denomination of which we are affiliated.
